The Vlach Chapel of the Ascension of Virgin Mary

The Vlach Chapel of the Ascension of Virgin Mary |

We are very pleased that we could be a part of the reconstruction of The Vlach Chapel of the Ascension of Virgin Mary. The chapel occupies a prominent place in the history of Czech architecture, as it is an example of the first Italian chapel built on an elliptical ground plan in Europe, north of the Alps. It was rebuilt into its present Renaissance form in the second half of the 16th century. The interiors of the chapel are, however, furnished in a more modern Baroque style.
